mi piace Italia.

Okay, so I haven't really had a chance to write since... Nice.

My apologies - here is my brief update because right now, I stink like tea tree oil and tiger balm (which I slather on after I shower because of all the ridiculous mosquito bites I have... and to keep other mosquitoes away from me) and I am sitting in the hostel lobby so that everybody can appreciate my stinkyness and enjoy this newly created mosquito-free zone created by yours truly.

Europe in general...
1) They have really happy train sounds - like everytime they're about to make an announcement, I want to do a little dance.
2) They have condom vending machines on the street. LOL.
3) Girls wear longer shorts here than in Canada... guys wear shorter shorts here than in Canada... gender equality FTW!
4) Spanish boys > Italian boys > French boys ... I think... so far, but we are off to Paris tomorrow so maybe the big city boys will step up their game.

Nice, France...
1) They have a very efficient medical system

Venice, Italy...
1) Infested with mosquitoes. We totalled 30+ mosquito bites after Venice... impressive, I know.
2) It gets dark super fast and rains like crazy there when it does rain... and the water goes up to like your shins. We were running and splashing and screamingh - it was like a water fight but nobody was throwing water.. except the sky. lol. we got SOAKED.

Florence, Italy...
1) Seriously, you need to see this city by motorcycle. It's... beyond words.
2) Live music at night in the piazzas... and the musicians are pretty good too!

Rome, Italy...
1) Damn public transportation strikes. They strike once a month and today happened to be the day. We walked a bit over two hours to get back to the hostel. Man legs. Seriously, wait and see!

Italy...
1) The guys here are bold. Like ridiculous bold and not just young ones. Old ones too. Old men make lewd gestures at you

Ex. One stopped me and stuck his tongue out and wiggled it around, then he made the shape of like.. a woman's body with his hands.. then he started thrusting.. his body. Yeah. it was.. so.. so.. awesome.

That's all for now...
Arrivederci!
