You're HOT. STOP TALKING BEFORE YOU RUIN IT.

So yesterday, I went to sign up at a gym (long overdue I know) and the guy signing me up was this fit, mixed guy - pretty cute and we chatted for a bit while I was registering - all friendly talk since I'm (happily) taken but ANYWAY..

We got to the part where he asked me what I do for a living:

Cai (hot trainer): Hey, so what do you do?

Me: I'm an auditor

Cai (hot trainer): Oh cool!
* Types into his computer*
Is this how you spell it?
* Turns screen around*
Me: Uhmm, NO.
* insert a WTF expression on my face*

Do you know how he spelt it?
He spelt it: "ODDITER".
HOW can that EVEN be an OCCUPATION!?

... and THAT, my friends, is how to lose a girl's interest in a millisecond.

Unless you have a learning disability (then, it's okay and girls will think it's kinda sweet and a little sad but cute)

Hey, at least I'm honest.

THIS is an EXPRESS lane.

Oh. em. gee.

When I go grocery shopping or to Wal-Mart (which is likely once a week), I don't usually buy TOO many things so I live for express lanes. But when the express lane is full of people who have like 20 items - it does not work.

It makes me SO ANGRY.
"HELLO..... READ THE SIGN, Lady with 13 Towels, 3 soap dispensers and a bunch of miscellaneous items - do you want me to COUNT the number of items you have in your cart FOR YOU? Either line up here twice or go line up in a normal line so you don't waste EXPRESS lane time."

What a waste of life.
Just waiting in line to buy a little itty bitty bottle of nail polish.

Doubt.

It rains when you're here and it rains when you're gone.

Flashback and I'm lost again.

Dear Mr. Layton,

I've never been one to be a fan of politics. I don't keep up with the news or each parties' views and to be honest, I don't really know who the leader of the PC party is right now.

It wasn't your position as the NDP leader that made your death impact the hearts and minds of so many Canadians - it was who you were as a person. Someone who stood up for what you believed in, and wanting to make the world a better place to live in - maybe that's what lead you to politics, but it's who you were.

So as I said, I don't know much about politics but I did read your final letter - and it did pull at my heart strings. That even at a point in your life where you knew you had little time left, you took the time you had to share a piece of you with a world and to leave a little light and inspiration for others to follow.

"My friends, love is better than anger. Hope is better than fear. Optimism is better than despair. So let us be loving, hopeful and optimistic. And we’ll change the world."

You were one of the most charismatic politicians, no individuals of our time.

Thank you.

RIP Jack Layton.

Food for thought.

The Doctor's Office

So here's the age old question that everybody asks themselves when they go to the doctor:

"How come I made my appointment at X o'clock and the doctor can't see me till (X + 3 hours) o'clock?"

I hate waiting to see the doctor. What's the point of making an appointment if you're just going to make me wait as long as I'd have to if I'd gone to a walk-in clinic?

Oh em gee.

SERIOUSLY. And they make you sit in the waiting room with SICK people and you stew around in their SICKness for 3 hours waiting to see a doctor for YOUR sickness when by the time you see them, you probably have 3 more sicknesses.

WHAT. THE. BUCK.

I JUST NEED.

TO.

YELL.

Is it just me, or is talking to a boy you like very often like talking to a wall? Don't you feel like sometimes, you say the same (general) thing over and over again, but he doesn't get it? BUT... when you explain to other boys (let's say, your guy friends), they get it.

So my question is...
WHY doesn't the boy who REALLY matters, get what you're trying to say?

I have a theory.
1) I am not liking the right boys.
2) I can explain myself better with other boys than with a boy I like

I guess 2 makes more sense.

Step 1 to recovery = learn to communicate.

WHOOOOOP.
