You know...

Hi,

My name is Stella.
I have a Blackberry Bold 9700.
and I am a BB-aholic.

You know you have an unhealthy attachment and addiction to your Blackberry when:

1) You think the light is flashing when it's not.

2) 50% of the time it is definitely faster for someone to text you to ask you a question rather than to ask you in real-time (even if they are with you in person).

How could this happen?
Well, think about that friend you have that answers your question with "uh huh..." or a non-sensical mumble before resuming their bbm conversation or updating their facebook status. SURE, they get back to you 5 minutes later but the answer is so delayed that you don't even remember the question anymore.

Okay, okay. Truth is, I do it all the time but in my defense, I AM listening and I DO answer your question eventually, don't I!?  

3) You check your phone every time you walk from point A to point B: (a) at point A, (b)usually in transition at some point and (c) once you reach point B. 

4) You impulsively reach for your phone every 2-4 minutes. It's like that ratty old teddy you took everywhere with you when you were like, 4 years old.

5) You bbm while walking across the street... and down the stairs.. and there's been more than one occasion where you have walked into a wall, or door, or fallen down the stairs or tripped because of it.

Yes, I have done all of the above but in my defense, I'm a natural born klutz.

Is that how you spell klutz? It looks funny.  Maybe it's with a 'C'?

6) You will stand in a group of your friends and have a BBM conference with them instead of talking to them face to face - you know, because you can. It makes all those kids with non-smart (aka stupid) phones JEALOUS.
Bahahah - I keed, I keed.

7) You tell your friend you just have to answer a text first - it'll take 5 seconds. They say: "Sure!" because they're SOOO understanding.

Five minutes later, you are now bbm-ing two different people and updating your facebook status.

Oops. - time flies when you're having fun?

8) You take your phone everywhere with you - even the washroom. 

9) If there was a fire, I'm pretty sure one of the top 5 things I would grab would be my Blackberry... along with my laptop, PS3, external hard drive and as many clothes, purses and shoes as I could carry. 

10) I got nothing but who creates a list with only 9 items!? This will be number 10: Blackberry, Crackberry, Blackberry.
