So everyone who knows me knows that I love food minus mussels and oysters. They taste like ocean.
I like to eat things that are bad for me and I like to over-eat. I eat when I'm sad. I eat when I'm happy. I eat when I'm bored. I am so screwed when my metabolism slows down. In fact, I think it's started slowing down. I have steadily gained weight since I got back from the Dominican. Slow and steady wins the race but not in this case, my friends.
Anyway, the fact is that I like to talk about food. If you talk to me often, you've probably heard me give advice or speak in food terminology at one point or another.
Here are a couple of statements that I've used myself or that I've heard from others. Enjoy.
"He's like strawberry ice cream. You love strawberry ice cream but don't you want to try another flavour? How will you know that you don't like butterscotch ripple better?"
"Honestly, you should give him a chance. It's like an acquired taste. When I was younger, I hated mushrooms and now I love them so things change."
"She's like kobe beef.. it's really, really good... but what if deep down, I'm a vegetarian?"
"It'll get better in time.. you know, like when you make soup you have to simmer it for a long time so the flavour is JUST right but if you leave it there for too long, it gets too salty."
"He's hot. Like curry."
